We have at least one FREE, volunteer led run options every day of the week, some days we have 3!
All run sessions are confirmed each week in our closed Facebook group around 24 hours beforehand by each run leader. Here's a small summary as to what you can expect at each of our super supportive run sessions throughout the week, which are facilitated by our awesome volunteer Run Leaders.
All runs are at your own risk, with specific run session communications managed through our closed Facebook group on a day to day basis.
Support, motivation and community are all hallmarks of our 'Flagship Run' - our 'NMAM' run session. Start your week on the right foot (or the left) and come along on our 'Never Miss A Monday' 6km run.
“Never Miss A Monday” is a powerful statement. It means that you are in control of your week... If, on Monday you ignite the week with a run, a workout session or you choose to eat better, it is setting the tone for the rest of the week...
This session has 'runbacks' too, so the lead runners every 1km turn back to the back of the pack to make sure nobody gets left behind.
Come join us... we love meeting new runners!
Feel yourself improving as the weeks go by through running hills and intervals in the same session. Some weeks we combine the two and run hill-tervals just to mix it up. The gains come through the intensity and active recovery within the session.
This is the quickest way to get your fitness back, and the best way to maintain it.
Long run up to 15km, suitable for all abilities able to run for 1 hour or longer in a super supportive environment.
Chase those long run goals or use this session for some of those long run plans in the middle of the week.
Our midweek magic run is community running at its best. Its fun, friendly and not too far.
This session offers a casual 5km run, suitable for all abilities, midweek and well.... its magic!
Come along and catchup with some old running friends and meet some new ones, either way, we're sure you'll love this cracking run!
Join us for a casual 7km run whcih is suitable for all abilities.
A mainly flat run with a small 'upwards flat section' about 3kms in to challenge even the seasoned runner, and then its all downhill from there on the run home.
We even run around a lake for some added extra idealic scenery.
Warmup for the weekend with our 6@6 run each Friday morning...
Some run more or less than others, but the gains are in the consistency, good form and group atmosphere this run provides.
Run around the lake at Rouse Hill and see the sun rise along your run, setting you and your weekend up perfectly as a result.
Runrise... Its a run, and a sunrise, all in one!
Kick off the weekend vibe right with our amazing Saturday Runrise crew.
A leisurely 5km run through the streets as the sun comes up is one of the most refreshing times of the week, and its done all in a supportive community atmosphere - the true exemplars of when running friends become your running family.
The perfect Saturday warmup before parkrun, this has been a group favourite from the early formation days of KRHR. Don't take our word for it, come and try it for yourself!
This run takes you along the scenic and leafy Smalls Creek catchment through a lush and green setting. The perfect accompaniment to any training program, or just to casually run with friends on a leisurely Sunday morning.
You can run up to 10kms on this run, all at your own pace if you choose, its all up to you.
Anyone can do this run, and nobody gets left behind. Plus, there's never a reason not to grab coffee afterwards to end the running week!
